The data helps insurance companies to direct funding for preventative care, significantly reducing the higher costs of delayed, long-term treatment and extending overall life-expectancy. Dr. Yamamoto received his MD degree from the University of Tokyo and became a cardiologist, after which he received his MBA degree from Harvard’s Business School in 2005.

Recently the founder of i-kifu, Nhat Vuong was nominated as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum. The Global Shapers Community is a World Economic Forum (WEF) community of young people from all walks of life who have demonstrated great potential for future leadership and are united by their drive to improve the world around them.
Earlier in May 2012, Nhat Vuong was invited to participate at the most recent ASEAN World Economic Forum in Bangkok to discuss the topic of "engaging tomorrow's consumers". In August, he also attended WEF's Headquarters to introduce the i-kifu platform during the Annual Curator Meeting.
